My windshield washer reservoir is losing fluid and then I get the ‘low fluid’ message (2003 coupe).
The invoice states:
‘Replace washer lines (found liners are broken at nozzles and in the middle)”
They told me the parts have been discontinued but they would install if I could find the parts.
Has anyone experienced this and/or know where to look?
Do you know which lines in particular are broken? I ordered 20' and have probably 15 left over if it will fit your needs. Just send me an address and quantity.
The lines I could find at auto-parts stores were much too big to fit inside the arms, so I measured with my caliper and spent a lot of time searching online (everything wanted to be medical grade and clear.)
What I know is that the dealer reports hose liner broken.
I think he said a T connection.
If so, they may have a problem getting broken parts out of the hoses and damage the hose.
I think they were going to install the complete assembled one before they determined that it was no longer available.
They did say that it was labor intensive... 2hrs+ maybe.
