Yeah...there's a static altitude and a calculated altitude that figures in weather/humidity etc. The higher the #, the slower the car ESP n/a and closer to stock.
7000 is fecitious but I think a tune up is in order; just mph alone. Maybe mine was just a freak...
Nice , it can take some practice to get the RT down. I know some guys that race regularly and still need some practice time when they run a different car.
14 with a .352 RT puts you well into the 13's just getting warmed up.
pffff childs play..Try 8k DA and altitude of 5,800ft above seal level. c5z have trouble getting into the 13's here...

Pictures look great.
he can sit at the light all day still would run 14's...time doesn't trigger until the beam breaks. Not sure why this is such a misconception. Sit at the start for 30 mins he would still run a 14.02...get a perfect light...still 14.02 For his first time out I say thats pretty good..just keep practicing OP..
edit; didn't see rsbeast post

that's indicative of power to run well into the 13-second range if the car would just leave the line harder:
for comparison, you can see the incrementals of my '82 Corvette (seen below in signature) when it barely ran 13's, at 'just' 99 MPH
I am kicking-around the idea of taking the C5 I bought a few weeks ago to the nearby (6 miles away) 1/8-mile strip this Saturday night, and mixing it up with the regular 'weekend warriors':
if I do, and the weather permits, I'll post a full report next week
I am sure there is more in it...I launched softly and shifted at approx 5500 in all gears...twice I shifted into 4th and realize now I did not need too. It was fun getting smoked by a C6 Z...really got to see it in action. After it uploads on youtube I will post it.
