I inspected my brake pads the other day and it's time to replace. The pads I have were on the car when I purchased 4 1/2 years and 25k miles ago. The front pads while very effective produced a lot of dust. Looking for recommendations for a great performing brake pad with minimal dust. What are you running?
Look at the Carbotech 1521 pad very low dust quiet and still has the braking performance you expect from your corvette. The 1521 is a ceramic based compound that also contains carbon and Kevlar. The 1521 is also 100% non corrosive will not harm your wheels or paint. Not the cheapest pad on the market but you pay for what you get. If interested I will be happy to help you out.

I'm happy with my Hawk HPS - although installation of the rears was a little tricky - there are these rivet heads protruding through the back and I had a difficult time getting them past the caliper pistons. I had no issues with the fronts. A definite improvement over stock (I also did Stop-Tech slotted/cryo-treated rotors + stainless lines at the same time)
I've got GM Ceramic's pads now for several yrs & am very happy w/them. Had chrome wheels & am now running blacks with little or no brake dust w/normal driving (I don't track the Vette). p.s. Running drilled/slotted rotors.

Used on BMW's and other Euro cars, take a look at Akebono ACT, or Akebono ASP (street/ track) are both excellent. I actually use ACT on the track and they are fantastic. Little to no dust, easy to clean off.
Regular street driving? GM ceramics do the job with little to no discernible dust.
Want more aggressive braking go with the mentioned Carbotechs.
I love the braking of Hawk HP+ but they create heavy black dust. I don't care about the dust. I want braking power.
I've been running Brakemotive pads and rotors for about 6 months daily and couldn't be happier. Cant beat the price. for the price of pads alone, you might could get ceramic pads and crossdrilled and slotted rotors.
