Well repairs started this week. Should be done soon! Things getting done are: New driver side mirror, driver side glass, new windshield and molding, new triangle trim. While it's there I am getting the nose, hood and headlight covers repainted. Should be better than before! I think the windshield is original to the 114k on the car so that will be a huge improvement. These are a couple of pics in disassembly...finished pics coming soon.

I hit a baby deer going 45 and it did absolutely no damage whatsoever to the car...I was and still am dumbfounded. I am guessing the fiberglass flexed just enough to launch the deer back off. It hit its head on my front left fog light side and was killed instantly. If it was a buck the same probably would not have happened.

Glad to read you're ok. I had an incident with a deer at about 15mph about 8 years ago. There was a car in front of me turning into a driverway, so I was slowing down when all of a sudden a deer tried to jump over my car(? I guess) and it came down with the front legs hitting the nose of the car, and slid up the A pillar, and left some snot on the windshield. It cracked the front end, so I had the have it replaced and painted. ($3800) I didn't notice at the time until about three months later that the hood must have "flexed" about 1/8". I never had it fixed, and a weather seal makes it almost unoticable, but I know its there. Good luck with the repairs.

She's back! Some late evening pics so they are not the best, but just got her back today! New drivers mirror, door glass, windshield, corner lights and freshly painted nose, headlight covers, hood and front fenders.

It's good to have her back in the garage...
