1966 Ford Mustang Fastback, 289 V8, 3 Sp Manual Trans. Owned 1971-1974. Traded it in for a VW Bug during the "gas crisis". Stupid decision I regret to this day.

69 GTO Judge Carousel Red (orange) 4 spd Ram Air III 400 366 HP bought in 1972 with 49,000 miles for $1250 all original - too bad I destroyed it :-( (as many teenagers did) my 2nd car

67 Impala SS 427 4 spd 385 HP (fastback) bought in 1975 for $ 800 with 80,000 miles, had the original window MSRP sticker ... sold it for $ 750 2 years later and bought a 76 Ford van and customized it :-(

Stupid Is as Stupid Does

Having lived my early life in England, there are only a couple that I regret getting rid of - an ex-factory Lotus Cortina, kept it for 3 years, sold it because of the arrival of our first. And a Jaguar 3.8, rolling trouble, but smooth as silk and very capable on British roads. That particular one did not suffer from underbody/chassis rust - only because that Jag lump leaked oil everywhere. No need to change the oil - just keep it topped up. I used to buy oil by the 5 gallon pail.

Both would be worth a lot of money these days, but like many interesting cars here of that era, they mostly ended up being totaled by young drivers, or rusted out, so they are now pretty rare - especially the Lotus.

I would like to have my 69 Vette, 2-top Vert with 350 (converted to LT-1)
Also would like to have the 64 Buick Skylark vert with the 350/4bbl carb. Paid $325 for it to keep the miles off the 69 Vette. I had no idea it was a high performance 350 until I had to buy a part from Buick. The guy at the parts counter told me it was one of about 300. Sold it for $450 a couple years later when I received a company car. It was the perfect sleeper.

Default Somedays I wish I had my 63 SWC Back

I sold my 1963 SWC that I had restored into a nice driver, and bought my current 2003 black convertible. The new C5 is much more comfortable and less work, but there are days .... when I miss the 63.
At least I sold it to a charity and they are raffling it off - it 's going for a good cause.
