Default C5 dyno tune

I got my 2000 M6 dyno tuned today. It made 325hp and 335lbft with intake and borla straights. Anybody have similar numbers? I was hoping for a little more but the car has 100,000 miles on it, so i guess thats decent. Thoughts? thanks guys

Pretty much average for the car. Good solid numbers

wasnt sure but makes me feel better to hear you say seems high. the car definetly runs colder, temp never got close to straight up even in sitting traffic. i have heard they can make anywhere from 300 to 315 stock depending on factory tune. mine was 310hp/322 with intake and exhaust. it feels like it pulls harder on 3rd and 4th now.

For the mods you have on the car, those numbers are about right on the mark.

Seems like an average hp output for your mods. What type of Dyno was it?

300rwhp is normal for a stock M6, so you posted an additional 25hp so either the tuner found some laying around or you had some other bolt ons on it. Either way it seems like it's average and it's running well.

Congrats on the numbers!

Of course the telling dyno numbers should have a before run to get a baseline number and then an after run to see what was the result of the tune. Then you know what you paid for.

Decent numbers for the mods you have. It is a LS1, but does seem a bit higher than I would have expected.

base run before tune with bolt ons was 310hp/ 322lbft. so i got about 15hp and 13 lbft from just the tune by HP tuners

ohhh I see yeah then you are on the money I thought for some reason before the tune it was that. Since an exhaust doesnt add anything and a intake is good for a few. now add a blower and have some real fun.Isn't that right sfc rick..

I got very similar results with similar mods on my '97 (CAI and cat back, but OEM LS-1 intake)...324/331

Here's the detail with dyno sheet (post #42)...

Without the Supercharger, you only have half the car it should be. Never settle for only half the fun.

As cheap as these cars are today it makes perfect sense to splurge a little and double the enjoyment. Like those DirectV Commercials.....don't be that guy when you could be me.....something like that.

Was the difference before and after noticeable? I have an 01 6m with cold air and Z06 cat-back tis. Runs great. A little cooler would be better in summer. I am also thinking about getting a tune. Was there a baseline dyno run? Seat of the pants difference? Thanks!

When I did mine I felt a little seat of the pants difference but nothing crazy. After awhile you will think your car is slow again

Same setup sat my 98 m6. I did 326 hp and 337 torque. I now have an ecs kit on the way that was ordered a month ago and still has not come in yet.
