If so, what are your mods and how do you like it?

Are you talking about clutches? If so, I can't even begin to describe how much I dislike spec clutches.

Talk about crappy quality.

Yes, clutches. What issues have you had with their quality?

Thanks

I have a spec 3+. My car makes 740 on low boost... and i love the streetability of the clutch... if you are paying attention, it drives pretty damn close to stock. No chatter, holds all the power, predictable engagement.

Also running a 3+ in two of my cars.

In the vette I'm at 600 crank hp. A&A supercharger and exhaust mods.

Easy to drive on the street, no issues. I don't drop the clutch, but I've had some pretty hard launches.

I have a Spec3+. Only other clutch I've driven with in a corvette is the stock one, but the Spec clutch is a lot heavier that stock, although the engagement is pretty predictable, and its very controllable once you get used to it. I have about 550-600hp, and the clutch will hook whenever I want when I drop the pedal.

It makes some weird noises though, but it might have been installed poorly by the lousy shop that installed it.

Seems to be a varying number of opinions on this clutch. Maybe improper installation could account for some of the negative reviews.

I've been strongly considering this clutch with either their aluminum or steel flywheel.

Thanks for the feedback.

No thanks. I had one; the pressure plate fingers failed. I went with a McLeod twin. No issues, and much better driveability, too.

I looked at the mcleod, I'm trying to stay under a grand for the clutch setup though.
