Could very well be a scam, but it could also mean the seller is not willing to ship it to any other country. As always, it's up to the buyer to due adequate research before putting in a bid. Shows the reserve was not met.
You guys are laughing at this car, but if you noticed, 29 people bid on this vehicle.
there is a book called everyone know 250 people... a scammer can get 29 people ( friends ) other scammers in the scammer net work to offer bids to promote a scam... do I really have to tell people this????

The seller wrote me back and said its an actual Z06 converted to a convertible and by shipping to the United States they meant they can arrange shipping to anywhere in the U.S., I asked for a pic of the RPO codes
The seller has over 390 transactions and currently has 10 other items listed on ebay. If this is a scam, it's a very good one. Also, if it was a scam, why would the scammer list a custom build and why would they list the Vette as a rebuilt title? Why not go with a straight car that looked typical and not rebuild. IMHO, this is probably a legit deal. As for me, when I see a rebuilt title I'm just not interested. In my misspent youth I spent some time at a rebuilding shop, I'll pass on buying one thank you.
In my opinion, they should have grabbed the highest bid.
EDIT: This car has a rebuilt title from 2006. To put that in perspective, how bad would you have to hurt a 2011 Z06 today to have the adjuster total it which would lead to a rebuilt title, pretty freakin' bad.
Like Evil-Twin said, "...wouldn't touch that with a very long stick..."

I wrote them back asking what they would take for it. They said the reserve was set at $15,000 but would listen to offers close to that, other than the salvage title it's a sharp, 28k mile Z06... Convertible
Half the cost of a new Miata...twice the car that is almost one of a kind! If I were in the market for a new toy that would be a consideration for sure. What do you get for 16 grand in the toy store!?!
