Just got car out of shop for 2 1/2 months. FWIW one of the things they did was a brake job. Check ABS, Traction Control lights coming up on DIC. The codes are C1232H, C1235H, which are LF, and RR wheel speed circuit open or shorted. When you turn the car off and re start the light goes out every time. After driving it a bit I have noticed the light stays off until you hit 55 MPH. I pulled those 2 wheels off and checked to see if sensor cable was plugged in right and they seem to be. Shop knows about it and they will fix when I bring car back for final tune after break in ( they rebuilt motor ) They want me to put 500 miles on it before I bring it back. Just trying to see if there is a easy fix for this light before I bring it back to them.
Check the ground wire right next to the battery box you might have to push the box wall to see it.
It is located on the frame rail it can be loose or dirty that will cause those 2 lights to come on.
If it isn't that then its your ECBM you will need to take it off and re solder the connections.
Thanks! Will check ground. I just did the ABS Fixer thing about 4 months ago. Car has been in shop last 2 1/2 months getting motor. I suspect something got messed up there while it was in a million pieces.
Does your stereo and HVAC not turn on as well when the service ABS/traction comes on?
no, everything else seems to work. I think it is a single event that trips the light on because when I turn the ignition off and restart the car the light is out. I drive up to 55 mph and it comes back on. I checked the connectors at the wheels and all seems fine. When I drove it the first time after checking Sunday the light triggered again at 55 mph. Now today, Monday, the light has not come on once. Weird.
