Yeah ill probably just take the BSM's off, slam it on the ground like a civic, put a blackwing intake on it, put about 47 jake skulls and vette emblems all over it along with some hash mark race stripes on the fender, wax it 4 times a week, and never drive it unless I'm going to a car show while doing 55mph or less, only using 1st, 4th and 6th gear to conserve gas..

Sounds like you got it all figured out. Why would you lower it when you have a sweet 5 inch fender gap Mad Max and if you're gonna rock sun dials on your doors what's a couple hash marks. You're all set up for Fury Road

I took the BSM's off, what ya think? Better? I don't know I'll probably put them back on
Well hell.... I have a subdued Jake skull on my rear window... guess I should go and tear it off and mine is slammed, waxed, ****.... Perhaps I need to sell it and start all over again...
( reflection in head unit)
New Gauges...
You actually cannot see it, but it's there....

Much better. Glad to see you lowered it a little bit. Lost the sun dials... I assume you bought a digital watch too/ditched the walkie talkie for a cellular device so you can ask someone to read the time to you
There's always a faster car. I'm sure there's a Pinto out there somewhere that'll beat my car too. The GTO, IMO, looks like something my aunt would drive (she did drive a Pinto years back), a sleeper I guess.

... I'm not really a fan of the gto out of the box but some modded ones look good, like the orange one posted in this thread... same goes for base c5/c6 vettes... in my opinion the c5 and c6 z06/zr1/grand sport look good from the factory and the others need mods to make them look good, but this is just my opinion
Duh, most cruise ins aren't a mile long, that's the only place corvettes are driven to.
K. Well that's too bad you don't drive yours more often. But wow, almost 200,000 smiles of cruise ins? Good times. I can't stay out of mine if it's nice out but it would take some time to reach your mileage. I've only been to one cruise in in 10 years of having my Corvette. I guess if I was doing cross country cruise ins on a regular basis it would be hard to get enough people to commit to make said cruise in very long. Kudos. Your fuel bill to turn those swampers and replace them during the cross country cruise would break me. Very cool that all your family and friends carry walkie talkies though. I bet you have some wicked awesome hide-N-seek games.

nice. I have seen some that sound really good but I think it's something about the rear wheel well, and the fact that it doesn't represent "GTO" to me. Aesthetically...

Most of the miles are from the dyno, tuning it for the blackwing intake

that's funny, I'm not a car show kind of guy myself... I'd rather be out burning the tires or in triple digits rather than sitting in a parking lot chatting about waxes and drinking starbucks

speaking of, I knew a guy that owned one of them years ago and I remember him complaining about not being able to fit a big back tire on them because of the gas tank... I am not familiar with those cars though but I want to say the widest he could squeeze was a 275... if that's true then it sucks, I ran a wider tire than that on the front of my car at one point

My quickest 1/4 mile time to date was done on 275s

drag tire?... if so I can understand that... I don't drag mine much and I'm not really concerned with the times when I do, it's just for fun... I always take it in street trim as I'm not a fan of swapping out wheels and tires, so a 275 street tire or drag radial is not gonna cut it for me
