??? for a painter with airbrush experience
I am looking to buy a C5 that has a very nice custom paint job,
But......The owner added a BIG crossed racing flag across the hood and
onto the front fenders a bit. The flag was airbrushed on when the custom paint was done.
I don't like the airbrushing, and want it off. Is it possible to have a body shop wet sand the air brushing to remove it? Then maybe clear coat the
hood and fender again? Or just wet sand and re polish?
Curious if you paint and clear coat, THEN airbrush on top and clear coat
again?

It would be easier and quicker to sand smooth, apply base coat and re clear the entire hood. Not sure about the fenders without pics. If paint on the hood is in good shape it can be blended, but if it is that big it is not worth the effort.
