can you disable climate control memory?
several times now i have went out to start my car with it being cold out only to go to get into the car with the defrost not on. is there anyway to disable the memory for climate control. i want to be able to start my car of a morning, turn the defrost on, and come back to it with the defrost still on. i dont want to set the deforst on high either with the memory and have it running full blast everytime i start the car. evidently when im shutting the door the climate control is going back to the memory settings

The computer remembers the last settings for the climate control system and radio and is 'linked to' the key fob you are using. So if you use the fob to lock and unlock your vette, the last settings will be restored.

ill go out to my car that is unlocked. open it up start it and turn the defrost on. when i shut the door it turns the defrost off. i know i can set the memory to have the defrost on high speed but theres plenty of times where i wouldnt want the defrost to even be on when i got in the car
