So i have a 1999 frc that my reverse lights havent worked on since I purchased it. Iv replaced all the bulbs the switch in the tranny and checked the fuses so all is good there but no lights....any ideas???
I will post the schematic shortly. Daughter is on my database computer now.
Have actually tried to see if you have power to the lights? If you do then they might not be grounded. The ground wire runs to G401 which is at the rear frame rail (inside) on the driver side.
If you have no power to the lights it might be B/U Lights Relay 38 in the engine fuse box. The contacts might be bad. They should be normally closed.
I dont have my meter here go figure lol but looked under the hood and relay 38 was missing so i put a new one in and still nothing....fuses are good so i turned the key on car in reverse and pulled the relay then put it back slowly and it isn't activating the realy ie not clicking
The relay does not activate except for Approach lighting by use of the FOB. The relay contacts should be closed for normal use when you go into reverse.
You sure you installed the correct relay with the 5 pins?
