I was at the tail end of a 150 mile road trip when my buddy and I started to have some fast paced fun. I shifted from 3rd to 4th at high speeds and the clutch pedal would not come back from the floor. I was told one of the possible causes was boilig clutch fluid created an air pocket in the slave cylinder. I am working on cycling old fluid with Motul600 and ive done a lot of resivore changes, drive, and change. I need some other opinions...
Then, I want my exhaust to be louder at idle. I have long tube headers, cat eliminating x pipe, factory titanium muffflers, and just had a cam installed. Can I get louder while keeping factory mufflers?
I would also like to know if there is a way to eliminate the "standard" clutch clatter when turning the car off....?

these ls1 cars are known to have the clutch problem, check the clutch line going to the slave cylinder since you have headers it might be really close to them also you might want to wrap the line to help keep the heat from boiling the clutch fluid

hold the clutch in when you shut the car off
Nothing much to add to what Stroker said. He is pretty much spot on.
The headers could be causing many of your clutch issues. Ceramic coating the header is another, but more expensive option.
