Would anyone have a pic of the brake calipers on a 1999 Corvette. I'm buying a used and the rotors are regular steel and not stainless. And are these rotors drilled? Is "Corvette " cast into the caliper body? Any help would be appreciated. I'm buying sight unseen and have pics but want to make sure...
Having owned 3 vettes before, 72-Big Block , 77 garbage and a 79 that was questionalble. Going to the 99 is a big step and I just want to thank you guys for your prompt response. I'm buying this 99 with only 51,000 on it sight unseen.. the dealer appears to be legit but in todays world it's safer to be a little paranoid than get ripped off from the get go.. " T H A N K S " !

You could start a post asking if anyone on the forum could stop by where the car is located and give it a quick look over. I've done that for forum members a few times over the years. Your purchase time frame and current owner reluctance might not make this possible, but it's worth a try. Good luck with your search.
