Master Cylinder Leaking?

Master Cylinder Leaking?
I have a 2003 Vert. There is an oily fluid seeping inside the firewall. It is coming in through the boot where the steering shaft goes through. There is not much but it is worrying me. I found it last night and the only thing I see above the shaft is the master cylinder. Anyone else have this problem?

Is your car an auto or manual transmission. It could very well be your master cylinder. A friend of mine's Hyundai developed a clutch master cylinder leak and it leaked to the inside. Have it checked out.

Had not thought of the clutch master cylinder. It's parked in the garage right now. I'll investigate more on Monday. I have the Holiday off. I'm headed out for the barber Motorcycle Festival in Birmingham shortly. Should be fun.
