His comments about stroker cranks should scare a bunch of people...
Yeah, I have been toying with the idea of saving up to do a stroker but his insights and comments have me really rethinking that idea if I want the engine to keep living and long healthy life. Looks more and more like I'll have to "settle" for just heads and cam on the LS1 for my budget and goals.

I agree I thought this info was great, have many people had issues with piston skirts even on engines with just a 4 inch stroke? I know I have definitely heard of the issues involving the big 4.125 inch stroker cranks. Makes me think twice about stroking an LS2 or LS3.
Very cool. I love NRE....they have some amazing builds. Looks them up on youtube if you get a chance....he does some post build testing on the streets and it is awesome!
