It's finally getting cool enough in the morning to operate without AC, but I prefer to travel with the windows up. I've noticed that I can select outside air flow on the Auto Dual Climate Control System, but as soon as I increase the fan speed it kicks on the AC. Is there something simple I'm missing? I just don't want to have to turn the AC on and then back off to get the outside air flowing in.
Are you trying to do this in Automatic mode or Manual? Refer to your Owners manual in case you haven't looked at it in a while.
Mr. Sam
I looked at the manual this morning so I'm probably just slow. From an off state I hit the external air flow button which comes on, but there's little to no fan. Hitting the fan speed turns on the compressor. I found the bit about pressing the mode button to lock in the current air delivery setting so maybe I need to hit the mode button before adjusting the fan speed.

Tap mode to vent, then you can hit a/c off and fan is in auto.
