Air conditioner problem
When the Corvette is parked and turned off for a shorter duration, like during a shopping trip, there is no odor problem upon starting it back up again. This only occurs during longer-duration intervals of non-use.
What might be causing this? Mold inside the ducts? If so, how could it have entered?
According to CARFAX, this Corvette was not damaged by flood. However it was in Delaware during hurricane Sandy, so water might have entered the A/C ducts somehow, if possible. Any thoughts on this?
Regardless, what should I do? Take it to an air conditioner shop? Lord knows I do not want to be ripped off. Any recommendations in Dade or Broward County, Florida?
Thank you, everyone, for reading about my Corvette's imperfections, and for offering solutions.

Here are some suggestions for getting the bad smell out of the A/C system.
$172 on Amazon:
$84 on this website. Could it be a remanufactured unit or some other type of trick?
