Default Oxygen sensor issue?

Trouble codes say bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 heater circuit issue.. Check engine light comes on about 10 minutes after a cold start, I can turn it off and it will stay off until the next cold start.. Seems to be running fine though. Should I just replace the 02 sensors before the cats?

Seems odd to me that both are problematic. Did they both start having issues at the same time, have you recently made any changes? Headers, tune up, AIR removal...

No changes, stock exhaust though I did just have some work done that required removing the exhaust(by a very competent mechanic)

Yet this started AFTER your mechanic worked on the car?

Happened to mine bc the shop that did the longtube header install did not secure the sensor wires from the header, melting them. Got the identical codes.

Default 02 sensors

There is a fuse that supplies power to the heater circuit also. It is fuse number 15 in the underhood fuse box. Check this as well along with the melted wiring issue mentioned in the previous post. Good luck with your repair.

Fuse is good , checked it first.. I'll check the wires when I get a chance to get under it

Yep it started just after it, though he did drive the car 15-20 minutes afterwards and it had no codes come up

What work was done that needed exhaust removal? Wondering if they somehow messed up the connections...
