Check with Phoenix Performance, located outside of Philadelphia. Builders/winners of many SCCA Runoffs/national championship titles in C5 and C6 Corvettes.

X2 on Phoenix Performance in PA. They did a fantastic job on a friends' Mustang.

Some things you might put on your list that I wished I knew about before getting mine...

First of all I like the fact that I retain my OEM seatbelts, many installers don't tell you that you now have a harness to deal with at the grocery store.

Second try to have nothing showing in your rear view mirror by having the bar as close to the roof panel without any rubbing.

If you want the best....you'll go to DMC Racing in Halifax MA.

Dennis has done several of my cars, and I'd bet money I have the nicest fitting 8.50 cert cage in my C5Z in the country. I've had people sit in my car and not even notice the cage was there, its that tight. My car is currently away from me so I can't get all the pics you'll want but I'll post what I have so you get the idea...

His work is second to none, and has built some of the nicest stuff in the country. He's the builder of Paul Major's Outlaw Vette and Dave Demarco's Silverback to name a few.

Call, you'll get his wife Kerri. Just tell her you want to talk to Dennis about the "cage in Travis' vette". They'll both know what you mean.

Here are a few pics, but honestly its hard to take pics so you can see the cage, its that good. Door bars are removable, as is the window net. Chute handle is in the middle off the top cross bar. If you're getting a cage, might as well get a chute mount made too. I'll include a pic of mine.

This is what it looks like with the door bars removed:

And the chute, and trailer ball mount

DMC should be able to fit you in I'd bet. Plus, they already have all the measurements from my car so all the trial and error has been done already.

We do not install cages anymore here, but I do have a 6 point cage I carefully cut out of my personal car sitting. It is as well fit to a C5 as you're going to get. Just weld in the floor plates and your done. $400 plus ship

NHRA legal and can be made 8.50 legal if you build off it.

PM me if interested.
