Default Winter nap!

Well the time has come for some of us who live up north to put our "Corvettes" to sleep for the winter. Today I will be putting the car in storage. The snow has not come yet, but for us who live in northern Minnesota you know it is just a matter of time. Today the roads will be dry so it is a good day to do it. Oh well it will be like getting a new c5 in the spring!

I hope to get another week or so up here in Winnipeg. Went for a nice ride yesterday. Had my fall oil change recently so it won't be long till nap time.

Love your city in the summer. My mom was from Lester Park. Enjoy your vette next spring.

I drive mine until the first snowfall that requires salt on the roads. I hope to have at least another month.

I put my 02 in winter storage last week and my 98 this week. That makes me depressed, not a joke, I really miss driving them.

I figure I have about a month left before I have to put mine away for a few months. Hopefully the weather stays good for that long.

Being in Pittsburgh the winters can be snowy and cold. They also can give you some stretches of nice weather. I never put the car down for long naps. I will run it every opportunity I get. This year a strong El Niño is predicted which is good for the northeast, so I hope to run it more often.

Last year I made it to November 21st. I still must wash and wax though. This year I have all season runs flats and hope to push it till thanksgiving.

I can heat the garage to complete the hibernation process.

I will be putting mine down in the next week or so. I drove it to work today but I had to scrape a thin layer of frost off first.
