Default install HID problem C5

Installed HID and i have problem with the light buckets not coming open and closing. I remember something quite a while ago about this issue. can anyone help me?thank you so much

You probably need to get an in-line resistor. The HID don't draw as much amperage as the stock units so there's not enough juice for the buckets to raise. It's kind of a hit and miss issue, some guys don't need one and others do.

Not all kits are "exact" plug and play. The positive/negative wires are switched on some units. Check color of "car side" output to the input side on the ballast and make sure they are correct. Also, I think a resistor might be needed for some kits.

So r u saying that some ballats that come from the factory do not have polarity correct? I think it comes from Japan or china so I could understand that. Thanks for your input
