Check column lock
This popped up after the C5 failed to engage in either first gear or reverse. Kept stalling out like maybe it was in 6th gear or something. Had to have it towed to dealer. Service guys never heard of this but will be working on it tomorrow. Any clues???

I hope you're listening. 8Vette7 is a bonafide expert in this field. Gonna cost you a bunch at the stealership. Even if the dealer "fixes" it, you're going to have problems again. The factory fix doesn't resolve the issue. Hundreds if not thousands of us Corvette owners have had this same problem. No better, cheaper or more permanent fix than the LMC5.

A Chevy dealer is the reason you have the 2mph shutoff on your car now. Be at the dealer when they open and stop any "troubleshooting" and follow the advice about installing the LMC5 bypass. It takes about 10 minutes to install and costs about $40 bucks from Compliance.
