Yes. I've tried to set up cruises with other vettes but sometimes no one showed, so now I just go for rides by myself. Enjoy the car.

I have been taking it out every weekend with no place to go. I will continue to until the first snow, along with the corrosive salt comes.

My question is does anybody else drive their car just to drive it with really no place to drive it to. Should I feel guilty about doing that putting miles on it for no real reason. What are your thoughts I'm curious to know.
My wife will ask where you going? Just taking the Vette for a ride around the block, takes about an hour. : yesnod:

No where to go drives are the best! Find the fun roads or just for scenery.

Every time I drive mine I have no where to go. That's a perk of being retired.

Bought my vette 11/14 with 29,619 miles, put it away about a week ago with 40,688 miles and enjoyed every minute of it!

I make up reasons for a drive, or a longer drive.

For example we have a Mcdonald's about 2 miles away, but I find I prefer to go to one that is about 40 miles away. My wife can't figure out why it took so long.

Just an example, but I do it every chance I can.
