I have an 04 Z06 with no fog lights. I installed the switch set up that has the fog light switch in it. I want to use the fog light switch to activate my line lock. I notice the plug has quite a few wires coming off the back. My question is, is there already wiring under the hood that I can tie in to in order to use the fog light switch in this manner? Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

I have a 04 vert that according to my window sticker says fog lights are standard. Unless the Z06 standard equipment is different, the wiring should be there for the fogs. Possibly the previous owner removed them for whatever reason.
ZO6s did not have fog lights. The wiring from the switch to interface with the BCM and to the fuse box is there but no wiring from the fuse box for the lights.
I have helped a number of people to add them to the ZO6. Most of the posts on how to do it is not what I would do since it overloads the one circuit they use. On top of that when they increase the bulb wattage and blow the fuse they just add a bigger fuse. Now that is crazy unless you like fire.
The fog light switch is just a momentary type and the contacts do not stay closed.
no seeing how the z06 did not have fog lights so there will be no wiring to tie into IIRC , so you will have to make your own...it would not really be that hard really to do . to run some wires
