5th gear grind
hey guys need some help. my 2000 M6 has been grinding 5th gear, so i ordered the reverse lock out selinoid and installed. 5th gear is still grinding and wont engage unless i slam it in. Not sure what else to do at this point. Any experience or ideas? all other gears work fine.

New tranny fluid. I was having that problem using synthetic (Mobil 1) fluid. Dumped it, used Valvoline Dex/Merc instead, and voila, problem gone - Tremec says all the tranny need is straight old fashioned Dex III. And they are right.
