Chadwicks, after you do the outside of the car your primary micro fiber will be saturated. Use that first then use a clean micro fiber to buff just like the outside !!!!
I've always used a worn scotchbrite pad, and BonAmi, AFTER a normal wash, and claybar, using all of this will clean it down to the BARE GLASS, as well as remove all contaminates.
I then treat with Rain X, and a GOOD, QUALITY Carnuba Wax...If it rains, you dont need windshield wipers, as the rain will roll off.
Inside, I make a solution of Deionized water, Iso Alcohol, and a drop or two of dawn dish soap. Spray it on, and wipe off with a microfiber towel. Makes for streak free glass, and will remove all of the typical out-gassing crap from the interior that typically bonds to the glass.

Oh hell, Ol' lo buck broke-*** cheap skate SaxyVette here with my findings..(man, lotsa window area on a C5 coupe.)
I discovered plain ol' Windex and soft cotton towels go a long ways..My car gets dirty in the carport, But I use my Cali duster to do my windows always before driving. No dust, no scratch.
Auto glass is soft and a scotchbrite pad will scratch it - I wouldn't go that route. Newspaper is the best thing I've found for drying. Dish washing soap with a little vinegar in it will clean as good as anything.

Don't use too much of anything. The excess will dry and cause streaks.
Buff afterwards to remove excess.
You'll probably get more streaking if it is humid outside. If you are cleaning the inside of your windshield and it's humid or moist outside-run your car and have the air blowing at the windshield. (Not with a garage door down. )
