I have a 2004 Z06, Stock heads, Worked, cam swap, 92 Fast intake, LS2 T/B etc. I had a Dyno Tune done. after that I had a sporadic idle, and a difficult time to keep it from stalling. went back to the tuner and explained the problem I was having. I did notice my idle was just below 800 (RPM). Coming to a stop My idle would drop below 500 RPM, and go into a stall if I didn't feed gas. This was not an issue prior to the tune I had before. When I asked him to bring the idle up to 900 rpm It helped, and the issue got a little better . But not totally. The tune itself is responsive and snappy, that part I am pleased with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to one and all.
You should ask the tuner if he increased the idle air flow. Car has short and long idle air flow trims that change to get to the set idle rpms. Long term trims are usually somewhat limited. Your car may need 50% or more air flow to idle nicely.
