A related question; here in Norway we have 95 and 98 octane fuel (both with added ethanol I think) Does the LS1 engine benefit from using a higher graded fuel, to use 98 instead of 95?
I know for example that on my late MC, a BMW K1300S, the instruction manual said that running 98 would give more power since the engine adjusted the timing automaticly with what fuel you used...

Does anyone know if a flex fuel sensor can be added to a 02 or new PCM or PCM operating system? I searched around here, in the EFI Live forums, and in the HPT forums. I've never found anything really conclusive.

Vengence Racing here in Atlanta has done a couple of conversions to Flex Fuel.

Quite honestly, if I had E85 available, I would have gone further down that path with them as they seem pretty confident in the conversion.

I believe your fuel grades are calculated differently than ours in the U.S. Most likely, those are the equivalent of our regular and premium grades and the car is designed to take advantage of premium.
