Actually, that could be AF blue. I'd check the motorpool and sign out logs for vehicles in/near your unit.

Thanks guys. I have to eat this one. I used to park way out there, but I foolishly in hindsight, thought it was just overkill...and a little snobbish. How foolish indeed.

I'd walk a mile for a safe parking spot. These cars are magnets for SUVs and trucks. They just don't see them.

This reminds me when I cam out to find my '73 Z-28 side swiped by a 4x4 while parked on the street.

That was the last time I parked any car I owned near other vehicles.

I hope your repairs go well, and, yes, I understand you feeling a bit sick after seeing this.

Since it's effectively a hit and run, IIRC, you should be able to file a claim under the uninsured motorist clause on your policy.

Get a Garmin Dash Cam, leave it on when you're parked away from home. Always drive with it on too! I never drive without it! You'll need to power it off when you come in the base gate though!

I get what you're saying about the parking, and even when I park halfway into the boondocks I still find people parked all around my Corvette and with a quarter mile of empty pavement between it and the mall ... too bad we don't have force fields yet

I don't like to leave anything of value in my car when parked. Gives thugs one less reason to break into it.
