I have a weird problem? ?

Installed a complete stereo system wires, amp, speakers, radio. The problem is I use a battery maintainer..since the install I can't get the green light to come on tell me it's charged? The light stays in the yellow tell me it's still charging. If I take the Amp power wire off the green light will come on wtf?

#1 Check battery condition.
#2 Amp needs a switched connection or install a relay to shut amp down to prevent parasitic drain.

Depending on the size of the amp it may be drawing more than your tender can replace.

Yes the amp will draw power if wired to an unswitched power source.

Sounds like CalF is on the right path

you have an extreme draw when the car sits. Take a voltage meter to the ends of the battery charger to see what it's putting out (just to make sure your tender/charger is working correctly)

I wil check but everything was fine till I hooked u this system.
