How much Dynamat?

For a winter project, I will be upgrading my audio, and want to add some Dynamat or similar material to my '99 vert. If I were to do the entire interior of the car, how much sound deadening material would I need? Thanks in advance.

If you are really going to do the WHOLE car and I mean every inch and not an open space your going to need a bunch. I have about 75-80% coverage and it took me about 11-12 sheets. Thats a 36 sq foot pack plus 3 extra sheets I had laying around. IMO 100% coverage is not needed. I did the same on my last z06 and was also happy with it.

I used about 60 square feet of FAT MAT from Amazon !!!! cheaper and thicker than Dynamat !!!

RAM Audio Rammat II in mine, I covered ever inch of the trunk and wheel wells and as far forward as I could, plus the steel sheet behind the seats on that vertical wall. Next up the doors. Just the above made a huge difference in killing road noise.

Gezz, another great reason to be in my 70's. I drive my vert with the top up/down with OME run flats and do not not hear road noise. I also do not hear wife noise when she yells at me.
