Another year has come and gone. 18 years with this great car. Ordered my car September 1997 and took delivery on January 5 1998. Here we are Jan. 5 2016, 18 years, 46000 miles and thousands of huge smiles every time i get in this car. One of the best cars i have ever owned. Then and Now
Sorry couldn't resist- 2500 miles per year - you ain't smiling that much
Kidding aside - nice car
My '04 has 10,400 miles. Wish I drove it more, but still makes me smile when it's looking beautiful in the garage.
To the OP: congrats on the 18 year milestone. Obviously you've taken great care of your car, and I'm sure it'll be around for years to come. Beautiful.
Not a lot of miles for a car that is 18 years old, that was my plan. I knew when i bought it it was my first and last new corvette. 44 years old when i bought it 62 now, hoping to have lots of years left to enjoy it. As far as I'm concerned i got my moneys worth. Not my DD so no need to rack up the miles.

I wouldn't care what anybody thought about whatever miles I put on !!!
Owned a 77 vette for 31 years, 4 months and 5 days - never thought I'd sell it, bought it with 9k on the clock and sold it with 42k. Kept that car all stock. As life happened I lived overseas for awhile, etc and the 77 actually sat in a NC barn for a few years.
Decided to buy my C5 instead of restoring the 77 and then decided to sell the 77 to supercharge the C5
Swore I would USE UP the C5, and I am, HPDE/Drags/fair weather DD and not let it sit like the 77.
All kidding aside, to each his own - great job Frank and best of luck keeping it up over the next 18
Frank, congrat's on hanging onto a that great looking C5 all these years
My 98 will be 18 next month and I look forward to taking it out and rolling the odometer over to 40,000 smiles. It's really impressive to see how long a lot of us have hung onto these C5's

Its just amazing how long these cars can hold up with proper care. With owning every mile you can see how well these cars are made.

Congrats Frank, beautiful car. I've still got my 77 Trans Am that I bought 3/7/80. It has 59,000 miles on it. haven't driven it since I bought my Vette 5 years ago. My wife and I left the church in the T/A, and when my son got married 5 years ago, he and his wife left their church in it also. My wife is battling stage 4 colon cancer now, so I'll be getting it out in the spring so we can do some cruising on days she feels like it.
