yep I do have the xtremes and I will never change them... on a stock car they will not be loud at all in my opinion, you will actually be able to hear the car for once but they really don't open up until you go wide open... they will produce a motorboat sound at idle with the rest of the exhaust stock but this is due to the h-pipe... if you upgrade to headers later with an x-pipe it will get rid of that sound... after headers is when they really start to get loud, especially if you have no cats but they still shouldn't drone and the cabin noise is kept down really good with their systems... most of the noise is on the outside of the car... if you go further and add a cam or even a blower it's just going to get better and better in my opinion
In addition to the perks you listed, don't forget about ZERO drone. That's the one of the best things about any Corsa system, hands down. It's also one of the reasons they're a little pricey. The Xtremes sound awesome in person. You'd have to be crazy not to love them. I say go for it.

My C5 is stock, so if i just upgrade to the extreme axle back only, and keep the factory H pipe, your saying it won't be loud? I only have the funds for the axle back only, should i get the X pipe with it also?

Mine has stock manifolds, H pipe with the Corsa Sport. It is louder than the stock mufflers, and really wakes up at WOT. Nice rumble at idle and with the H pipe I get a nice burble/pop sound when I decelerate.

I have the same in mine with a Magna flo X -pipe. They will sound like a motor boat at idle without an X pipe.

Adding the Xtremes to an otherwise bone stock car will be a huge improvement. It will be much louder. The x-pipe does little for the sound or performance of the car. It simply eliminates the "burble" sound that happens upon deceleration. I didn't mind it when I had Corsa Sport exhaust on my intake/exhaust only '00 vert. Sounded great. That being said, if you can throw a bit more money at the x-pipe/exhaust combo, I'd go for it. If not, shouldn't be an issue.

I just have the funds for axle back only right now, the next mod i wanna do is a intake. Thanks

if you plan on doing longtubes in the future I would not spend the money on an x-pipe right now because nearly all longtube setups for these cars have an x-pipe incorporated into their system so essentially you will be wasting money... they will be louder than the stock exhaust for sure but they are not teeth rattling loud like the name suggests unless you do some engine mods like longtubes, that will really wake them up especially if you don't run cats... bimmervet, the pic you posted aren't xtremes... the xtremes are really just a straight pipe out the rear and it does not flow directly through the muffler, there is a small pipe off to the side that connects the exhaust pipe to the muffler and this mainly cancels out drone... this was one of the selling points to me, the less restriction you have then the more air you are able to get out which means you can make more power
I have the Corsa Extreme and all I can say is: Go for it! It sounds absolutely fantastic. No drone, nice burble between shifts, and sounds amazing especially at WOT. The fit and finish is perfect. It screams high quality. I upgraded from Magnaflow to Corsa a couple of years ago and don't regret it one bit.
Agree, just put extremes on 05 6 speed and love it.
Still do not think it is that loud and gonna go arh headers
but everyone is different when it comes to this.
wish I would have done it years ago!

How much louder, some say they are really loud, thanks Pup
