To buy a corsa extreme axle back exhaust! I'm still wondering if i should pull the trigger on it, maybe i can get some extra help on here to help me pull the trigger LOL

So people out there with a corsa extreme exhaust, or knowledge about them help me with the decision to buy it.. And after i do this what should i do next? Thinking of a Vararam intake. Pup

Can't help with the Corsa but, the Vararam was a great upgrade... I bought one that was nearly new from a fellow forum member for $125
They come up for sale fairly often:thumbs in the for parts section of the forum... They are a little fussy about getting put on, but once you've done it the fitment isn't bad and mine has worked flawlessly.

If you want a much better sounding exhaust with no drone, make the purchase of the Corsa system. It will be loud though, if that is what you are looking for. I have the Corsa Indy Pace Car (now the Sport system) on mine and it is loud enough for me. You may want to check it out, if you haven't already done so, before you buy.

I have the Corsa Extreme and all I can say is: Go for it! It sounds absolutely fantastic. No drone, nice burble between shifts, and sounds amazing especially at WOT. The fit and finish is perfect. It screams high quality. I upgraded from Magnaflow to Corsa a couple of years ago and don't regret it one bit.

What kind of mods do you have on your car? It makes a difference in the exhaust choice as you will notice drone much more on a car with headers than one without them. If you have cam and headers - stick with the Corsa. The extremes are going to be loud so choose wisely!

If I had the choice of an CAI, it would be between vararam or the honker. Currently I am saving up for the Honker!

It's loud when you want it to be. At WOT it's loud but not obnoxious or uncomfortably so. Just perfect. At idle, you hear the rumble but only outside the car. Perfectly quiet inside. The key here is the anti-resonance technology. Drone is uncomfortable to human ears and can become very tiring. Corsa do the best job at eliminating it.

The Corsa Xtreme system will give you the muscle car sound you're looking for. If you add aftermarket headers though, it may be overkill. Try to check out a few cars before you commit to buy. Post in the regional section and hook up with some forum members.

If you're considering the extreme from corsa, have you considered the borla stinger? Quality product and half the price of the corsa.

Maybe i will just keep the stock headers on, there aren't many vette owners close to me, and don't want to travel far to meet up with them. I wish i could hear that system in person. One thing i better like them when i put them on, cause they are staying on. Is there anything about the exhaust that i won't like? it has three perks for me, great sound loud, gives minimal gains to performance, they look really great. Cheers

So is the conclusion that if someone plans to go the route of adding headers they should go with the Corsa sport? If we plan to keep the stock exhaust manifolds go the Xtreme route?

I want a loud exhaust on the outside... I'm just worried about too much drone on a long drive down the interstate.

In addition to the perks you listed, don't forget about ZERO drone. That's the one of the best things about any Corsa system, hands down. It's also one of the reasons they're a little pricey. The Xtremes sound awesome in person. You'd have to be crazy not to love them. I say go for it.

Not necessarily. Even with longtubes, the Xtremes should produce very little drone, if any. I believe neutron82 has this setup, and loves it. Outside the cabin, however, this combo will be LOUD. Go with an aftermarket exhaust that you like first, and if it's not quite loud enough, go the longtube route.
