Fixed Flippy Headlights today.

Replaced plastic gears in headlight motors with brass today. Easy job! Followed this youtube video.

Used this part off Ebay.

I had to do the same thing on my 98. The brass gears are much better than the plastic. No more worries.

good job on the fix one thing i have heard from a lot of people with the brass gears if the headlight gets bound up for what ever reason then it will cause the plastic gear it rotates against to damage or strip one of the biggest reason i went with plastic gears again
