door lock actuators
Need to do a bit of troubleshooting before recommending a solution. Can you do the following steps:
1. From inside the car, press the lock button on the drivers door. Does the lock lever in the door handle move? Do you hear a faint click from just below the inside door pull? Repeat this on the passenger side.
2. From outside the car, use the key FOB to lock the doors. Can you open either the drivers or passengers door?
3. Using the key on the drivers door, does this lock and unlock the door?
With the answers to these questions we can help determine where the failure is. There are 4 possible issues;
1. The door control modules have a bad lock relay preventing the doors from locking electrically.
2. The lock mechanism in the door is bad. Or a sub component of it.
3. The BCM (body control module) is not sending the lock or unlock signal it receives from the RFA (remote access module) when a button is pressed on the remote.
4. There is an issue on the data bus that all of the modules in the car communicate on.
Are there any other issues with the car even if they are not related to the ability to lock the car with the remote?
Follow the instructions in the following post to pull the DTC codes which can help in diagnosing the issue.

Post the complete code including which module it is from.
