I'm selling a set for $50 including chrome tips. Does that answer your question?

Dime a dozen .. if you can get a buyer; I've seen them listed as high as $150 (doesn't mean they will sell for that much).

Unless someone is repairing damage or returning a car to stock, no one wants used, base, non-Z06 exhaust. I was offered a nice set free to get them out of a friend's garage. I didn't want them, either.

That's pretty much the way it is. If you are looking for a set, try putting a post in the C5 parts for sale section asking if anyone has a set they want to get rid of. And would probably be best if it was a local deal as shipping would get expensive.

If you're trying to sell, start out asking maybe $125-150 and go from there.

Most people, I would think, if they need an OE exhaust, they will spend a little more and get a stock Z06 exhaust instead. If you are trying to sell you non Z06 exhaust, be prepared for it to sit in your garage for a long time.

they aren't worth much, if I had a base model I would just cut the stock over axle pipe in half to make it a lot easier to get the mufflers off without having to jack the car up so high... the pipe from the axle back to the muffler is all one piece so the car needs to be pretty high off the ground so you can maneuver it out... your new corsas will come with separate pipes that are easy to install without having to have the car high off the ground

He clearly stated factory.

Answer, not much unfortunately. Put them in the attic and reinstall if you decide to sell/trade the car.

Well maybe it was a crazy question to ask, i might keep them for awhile then try to sell. I hate to just trash them, but don't wan't to clutter up my garage either.

We should establish a repository for all of these useless, unwanted stock parts. A couple hundred years from now, they will be like gold to future restorers of ancient twentieth/twenty-first century classics!! Think King Tut's Tomb!

Presumably, the brand name on a factory exhaust will be "GM"...

Two years ago I took my car in for state inspection, went to the tech to talk to him. On his lift was a 99 with one side of the exhaust bent clown and the pipe broken. He told me he was waiting for a call from the owner to see what he wanted to do because the cost to replace a stock exhaust was around $1,100.'s. I told him I have a pair in my basement that only had 4K on them if he needs them I'd be willing to sell them for what ever he could get for them. Before I left the tech asked me if I could get them down to him ASAP. Went home and right back with the exhaust. Next morning he called me he had $600.'s for me. We split it. Right place right time

I took them off in 2000, cleaned up the pipes with a Brillo pad and painted the mufflers with high temperature black paint thinking I could sell them. No one wanted them, so down in the basement with all the stock Harley parts I had accumulated over the years changing stuff. Now if I could only get rid of all that stuff the same way
