I have a 2002 C5 Z-51 and just bought OEM C6 wheels/tires (18/19 with 245/285 tires)
From what i've researched, you need spacers or wheel adapters for the rear tires to correctly fit flush with the fenders. What size spacers would I need? Would 1inch spacers work? I also have it lowered 1inch on stock bolts if that matters.
I installed C6 wheels on my 02 Vert...which is Not lowered...I put 3/4" Adapters on mine got them to where I want to be...I think 1" will bring you right out the the edge...here is what mine looks Like...Which ever size you get make sure it's a High Quality Hub Centric Adapter
The guy who sold me the wheels is including a 1inch spacer for the rear, so that would work fine? I want it to sit flush, not over or under the fender.
Are spacers and wheel adapters drastically different? And are they dangerous? I've never heard such until I researched more, apparently they can fail at high speeds which is not what I want.

So, I did a lot of reading here last year on the very same topic. Everyone here has been great with suggestions.
This is the post of my outcome. I am extremely pleased!
