Default Tire advice wanted.

New member. In the process of finding a C5. Enjoying the process. I have to figure that whatever i find might need new rubber. Looking for advice. I live in the northeast. But the car will be a warm weather toy. So no need for tires that are acceptable in snow.

We have a good tire operation in the area, Town Fair Tire. Their website is offering the following in my price range. Any and all feedback / advice is welcome.

TIA, Graham

Yokohama S Drive

Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 K120

Go to the top of the page and click the icon... "tire rack". Its a great place to start your search. I've been using them for years. Also have been using Yoka's for years also, on my third set.

Have bought from Tire Rack numerous times over the years. Great operation. These days i like to do business locally. Just feel it is the right thing to do. And do not want to be a 's' head and pick their brains and buy somewhere else. The place I buy tires from have knowledgeable staff.

The Hankooks have become the Forum favorites for a less expensive quality tire. TireRack is still a good place to research.

Good Luck!

I run the Hankook Ventus tires on my C5. Excellent all around tire and can be had at a very good price. Not an all season tire though if you want that.

I got mine from Discount Tire Direct - lowest price I found since they have free shipping.

x2

I run them also and they are a good tire at a good price.

I got mine from Discount Tire Direct also. Even better, they are having a sale this week which knocks off another $75 on the set.
