Based on recommendations from several on this forum, I ordered the Triple Play package and hit the top side of my car with it this evening.
Yes, that's not a Corvette. It is the 69 Mustang I drive while in AZ for the winter. My black 03 Corvette is back in Seattle awaiting dry weather this spring and summer.
I am impressed so far with Chadwick, especially the ease of application. I'm eager to see the long term effect here in AZ, where cars get more dusty than dirty.
And I'm really eager to try it on the black Vette, which seems to show smudges and fingerprints even if you don't touch it (kidding...sort of).
I've been using Chadwicks for a couple of years now and love the product. The only thing that I don't like is that I can not use my California duster on it. The car is black and the duster leaves streaks when I use it. Black is sure a dust magnet.
Here's a question for those experienced Chadwick's users here: How far should a 24-ounce bottle go?
I did a first application, then the buffer block, a couple weeks ago, and did a follow up (minus the block) this weekend. Then I took it to my 03 Yukon Denali (didn't use the buffer block because I had clay barred it within the past two months).
All that and I am near the bottom of the 24-ounce bottle. Think Iaid it on too heavy? I'm sure I was being extra cautious with my 69 Mustang because it's a show quality car and I wanted to be certain there was plenty of lubrication so I wouldn't scratch it.
My understanding is you should use less product with subsequent apications, but it didn't seem to take long to go through that first bottle.
When is his paint correction product going to be available?
Call Neil and ask,I have the proto system, but have not used it yet, other things to do to the car first. Neil says I will be blown away !!!!!! http://chadwickstripleplay.com/
