I'm not far south of you. Looks like we are getting more tonight. Weekend looks pretty good temp wise but rain Saturday and Sunday. I'm ready for spring.
I am so ready for Spring i don't like this weather, don't have a 4WD either :P
Cant stand the snow here, ill be relocating to Florida in a few years luckily. Cars away getting modded for a few weeks hopefully this **** will break when I get her back seeing spring will be about a week away.
It's finally started snowing in Fort Wayne the past week or so. Sadly, my car is at my house I was renting, and I HAVE to get it out soon because my lease terminates at the end of Feb and we're already living in our new bought house. Car's gotta get moved and it looks like the weather doesn't want to cooperate. Not a terribly big deal but R compound tires and snow don't mix.
True, the snow may be disappear, but there's plenty of salt still out there...
I hate Illinois!
The DOT sprays salt to pretreat the roads (especially all the bridges). The problem is they spray it even when there is no snow in the forecast, when rain is in the forecast, when it will not get down to freezing. I hate that stuff and they just keep spraying it.
I lose an extra month in the fall and another in the spring due to them. Illinois is in debt and broke and still wasting the money on stuff we don't need and don't want.
I envy all the people in nice weather areas. I lived in Phoenix/Mesa area for about 15 years and can't believe we moved away to Illinois.

I used to live in Ft Wayne, was there for the 78 Blizzard. Snowed just about everyday at 3, Lake effect crap. Spent a lot of time and Money at Roots Ski, not much else to do but go to the Komets games, Ski and Snowmobile. Now in the Sunny south, Lawrenceburg, Indiana waiting for the Sun to come out. We still go to the Komet game but we have to root for the Cyclones
It's not that bad though. I put my Vette away sometime in September for the winter. Then sometime in early April I'll get it out again; It's like visiting an old friend for me (something to look forward to). I do any maintenance, repairs or mods for the upcoming summer while I wait for the rest of the snow to melt and drive it from late April till the next September.
