I've gotten to the point in my life where I realize that every day is a gift. When I start getting down because of the weather (or anything else for that matter) I think about my friends who are no longer here. I know they'd give anything just to see snow, cold, salt on the roads, etc., etc. That put things back in perspective for me. Warmer weather will be here soon.
I don't mind the snow, kinda like it actually, its the salt they put on the snow that I hate. Mike

That's not bad....Here in the Rochester, NY area, we got from 12" to 20" overnight, between Monday night-Tuesday morning....

I think for the most part we are just having a bit of fun in this thread,we live where we live and mostly that is the way it is !!!!! I have golfed and been a car guy all my life. Michigan summers are awesome,if you can't find something to do that's on you!! (winter also for that matter) When Spring comes it's like a new life starting fresh. You can't wait to get the clubs out and the vette. I think if I could golf all year I would not have so much enthusiasm to play golf and with the vette. Also would not do as much work to the car because then I couldn't drive it,so the winter is the best at doing all the things you what to do to the car !!!!!!
that's a lot of snow,here in Michigan it was 2 degrees this mor'n when I got up and tomorrow it's supposed to be in the fifties ????????? have to love MI.

Not a lot of snow on the ground here, But the salt is terrible. This city is the worst at managing the roads. When you need the salt in a heavy snow, not to be found. Got a dusting last night and they dump a ton. Warming weather this week end but will need 2 inches of rain to clean the roads.
