Lowered mine on stock bolts and bought a nice 19/18 wheel and tire combo, I think that it sits just right, fills the wheel wells nicely and rides the same as stock height. Cant see lowering it any more without compromising the ride quality. Just my 2 cents
I've done 3 c5. One had the f45 suspention the other two had z51. Yes the ride is alittle stiffer but not alot. All these people saying it feels very stiff, I guess there right on one hand but personally,,,never noticed.. that's the truth. Mabey atitle but not much. And I lowered them on stock bolts and had two threads showing when I was done on all the bolts. Everyone is different..
I went with coil overs - LG GT2's. Easy to instal and left it at pretty much the set up from LG. Some minor adjustments. I tweaked the settings similar to "Toques".
Maybe a tad low, whoever ride is better than before, yes I have to look out for debry and go slow over speed bumps. I did instal frame rail savers.
Very happy with the results and performance.
