Default My Summer Mod List...

I began the New Year with the intention of saving money for my upcoming nuptials, but that's much easier said than done. Especially when you've got the "mod bug", and you're having so much fun bringing your car up to speed.

So far it's been: LED taillights, LED reverse lights with Adjure Housing, various small LEDs upgrades (license plate bulbs, foot wells, etc.), Brake Motive rotors and pads. With the addition of the new lights out back, I'd love to update the front corner lights. There's quite a few choices out there with several options each. What is everyone around here running? I'd prefer to go with a clean white/white look, and nix the amber bulbs, unless they're switchbacks. Advice? What do I really need to make it work?

The next mod will be to Plastidip the lower rear fascia, as seems to be so popular. I like the look from what I've seen, and easy to reverse if it's a disappointment.

Finally, I'm going to lower the car on the stock bolts. Any other ideas fellas? Thanks.

Imminent BSM removal thread.

Good choices of mods, but be careful in some states(at least in my state of Alabama) clear lights are illegal on the corners. The law states that they must be amber in color, but I see them all the time and I personally don't stop anyone or write anyone a citation for it, but that doesn't mean I couldn't or some other Officer won't. Just be mindful incase they are illegal in your state, you may get the one Officer that wants to write you a citation for it, but I surely hope that you don't.

I wish they were in the budget this year. Maybe next summer.

I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the heads up. Will do some research just in case.

Beautiful car you have there. RadioFlyer would be my first choice, but do I need their most expensive package? Guess I should probably contact them to find out.

Cam/heads and a blower sound great. A man can dream, can't he?

How about a new shifter?

I have an MGW that replaced the stock shifter. The car has a better feel and it is noticeable every time I drive the car.

Another easy one is get rid of the CAGS.

On my Z51 car I upgraded to bigger sway bars and it helped. Your Z already has bigger bars than the Z51's, but still could be bigger for better body roll control.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I should have listed my mods in entirety I suppose. Sorry about that. In addition to the LED upgrades, last year's mods included: Blackwing intake, 1-3/4" LG Super Pro long tubes, cat deletes, MGW shifter w/lower box, tune, and some other minor cosmetic upgrades. Sway bars could be fun.

I've talked to Shant in a few occasions actually. Ha. His car has got some mean power, to say the least. There are worse addictions though.

New wheels will set your car apart from the pack.

Headers and a tune will really wake it up.

Those are my recommendations....
