Sorry to say goodbye, but I sold my Torch Red C-5 Coupe and bought a C-6 Yellow Vert!
Enjoyed being with you guys and your advice!

At least you're sticking with a Corvette. Congrats on the C6 and best of luck with it.

Enjoy, hope you did not burn the bridge.

You may be back one day. I did the same thing years ago, had 2 C6's, a coupe and a vert, then sold and was without a vette for a few years. Bought a C4 vert, did not like it then bought a C5 vert, but wanted something more unique, so ended up with my current 2002 Z06, and by far the funnest vette I have ever had!

Just because you buy a different gen doesn't mean you abandon the best group on CF. I bought a C7 but you don't see me leavin' ma boyz! And, yes, I did keep my C5.

How's that Stingray treating you Patches? My father is in love with them, and I've been trying to talk him into pulling the trigger.

5 Vettes! Can't get them out of our blood. My '02 is #8. My favorite until now was my bone stock '71 white on black 350/350 4spd. It is raucous and crude, but always produces a smile. In fact it won't run worth a hoot without octane booster. It was a GM exec car with 5800 mi. on it and I bought it for $7,900. The 02 vert A4 with just intake, headers, Borla and tune is faster and makes me smile bigger! I always buy used , pristine low miles for NADA or less. This is my last one, and I cannot even imagine parting with it. I can email some pics if interested.
Dave

Congrats! Nice to see that you stayed with the Corvette family. However, you can't leave the C5 Gen without posting pics of your new ride...

Well I suppose we all will leave at some point...but to abandon us just when spring is around the corner, inexcusable. Wishing all the best with your C6 and please post a pic of your new love and your old down trodden, unloved C5. Don't forget the wave Greetings, Rob

Congrats on the C6!

And like others have stated, you can always visit and contribute to the C5 (and any other CF) forum.

Enjoy the new ride!!

I will have had my C7, two years in July. I still like to come here and talk C5's. They're a great car.
