I'm a pretty new user, but I've used the Chadwick's all winter, and I drive my car as long as it's not snowy or rainy, which is nearly all winter here. Only Chadwick's on it for at least 4 months now, no traditional wash/wax. I Chadwicked it last weekend and took this picture. I will do the traditional buffing/wax/seal etc on a nice day in the next few weeks and maintain with Chadwicks.
Nice !!!!! you know that Chadwick's takes off all the waxes and other ????? That is the theory behind it, it strips off the junk so the base coat clear coat shine looks as it was designed!!! Neil's idea is the wax melts some in the sun then the dirt particles become in bedded and time after time it dulls the look !!!

AKA...I didn't know that about the wax. I wondered how it could look so good for so long with no buffing. In that case, I might just leave it alone and save myself a full day's work.
p.s. I forgot to mention that it rained on me for about 10 miles before I took the picture and it all beaded off. I never even had anything with me to wipe it off with and it still looked good...not a single water spot anywhere.

Yes some don't think it protects, but I have been in a couple rain storms and didn't even have to clean it. I hope you have also used it on your windows you will be amazed !!!!!(don't need wipers)
The foam bar included in the Chadwicks kit is supposed to be similar to a clay bar.
Shakey
the foam pad with rubber face is better than clay bar because it doesn't in-trap debris (so not to scratch finish) !!!!!!
and yes you start with the pad, and also after some time, you can tell by a towel sliding off the car !!!!!
