I'm looking for a 102mm throttle body but my Vette is drive by wire and all the ones I can find are by cable. And the ones I do find are super expensive. How hard is it to swap to cable
Its probably cheaper and way easier to buy a Nick Williams TB that's DBW as apposed to buying a cable TB and buying all the parts to convert it, as im sure it wont be cheap or easy to covert it.
I haven't bought one yet. Thinking a Holley midrise
What are your plans with the car? that's a big intake. You making a massive stroker motor with it? Plus you will have to get a new hood or cut the factory one I would think.
My Silverado has a remanufactured 700r4 with a couple of hundred miles on it. I bought a 98 c5 5.7 I I want to drop into it. How hard is it going to be?

Look into some of the forums on the web and FB that help folks swap LSx Motors into 3rd Gen F-body cars and others. You will get the best information there.

Yeah since we are drive by wire its more expensive and there aren't many option out there. I think it would be more of a pain to convert and not worth it cost wise but not sure what would be involved.
When I built my street rod I had to design my own linkage from the gas pedal to the carburetor. Calculating where to drill a hole through the firewall so it will aim properly to the carb linkage from the pedal so that the cable isn't aiming straight into the back of the block is the first problem. Making sure that you have smooth action so your foot doesn't get tired when cruising and that it properly returns is another issue. When you screw up you need to buy a new cable. It goes on and on. I wish they had drive by wire when I built that car. If you are still determined to do that browse some streetrod magazines where they still use that stuff. You'll find what you need, especially since the LS motor is very popular in street rodding now.
