Z06 purchasing question
Hi guys, I'm ready to get back into a C5 after being out of mine for two years...
Looking at a few C5Z, silver, between 40k-60k miles in the southwest.
Here's my question: All else being equal, would you choose a 01 with 40k miles or an 03 with 60k?
Thanks all - I'm appreciative of your insight, you guys have always given great advice.

The '03 is a Z06 also?
I'd go for that one. 20,000 mile difference is pretty much nothing. Especially both being such low mileage.

Yessir. I just wasn't sure if the 03 is "better" enough than an 01 to justify 20k more miles.

I would go for the '03. As said, 20K miles is not a lot - plus you'll be getting a two year newer car with 405 hp instead of 385.

It depends on how you are going to drive the car and how long you intend on keeping it. If you plan to keep it a long time and only use it a couple thousand miles per year then the '03 would be my suggestion but if you will daily drive and mod the car and keep it for only a few years then I would suggest getting the '01 since it will give you 20K more miles of driving.

I recommend you drive both and see which one "speaks" to you. Buy the right one and you'll never get the cheesy grin off your face.

Makes a lot of sense, tho' I lean towards the '03 because of the extra ponies.
